"Ain't No Mountain High Enough..."

Lower Dolpo in west Nepal is very unique and one of the most remote trekking destinations in Nepal. The main point of this area is the Shey Phoksundo Lake. The region is very rich in culture, ancient and isolated villages, wildlife, natural ressources and stunning landscapes. The cultural traditions of this area is basically linked with Tibet. Still today many things are well preserved because the Nepalese government is trying to develop this area as an environmentally friendly area.
So for the true nature lover and adventure spirits no other place than Dolpo could be more suitable.Furthermore, this is also one of the few areas where the pre-Buddhist Bon Po religion is still practiced. We also cross two high passes-Numa La and Baga La-and reflect on life amidst the tranquil waters of Phoksundo Lake. While we made sure you get to see the most beautiful places our Lower Dolpo Trek is unique and will not follow the classical Dolpo trekking path of other companies. This will make the tour a real adventure with expedition character.
